When Obama at today's news conference used the terms "appalled" and "outraged" to describe his feelings over the violence roiling Tehran I felt as if I were in a dream hearing Paul McCartney singing Michelle.

Could the soft, gentle, sensitive ex-Beatle do any worse than Obama as commander in chief? Do we really need Obama for a I Wanna Hold Your Hand foreign policy with our enemies? Didn't Obama say to the anti-regime protesters: So you say you want a revolution, well you know I don't want to change your world? Regime change in Iran is a regional and world necessity, but Obama respectfully calls it the "Islamic Republic" when there is no Republic; no government in Iran serving its people; only a government of murderers serving itself and its dangerous, expansionist foreign policy goals. Couldn't Paul McCartney do just as good a job at being feckless, servile and blind but in a more entertaining way? I'll take this Beatle over Obama any day.
