Rigged elections or not, it is better that this evil regime wear the face of evil, keeping it's true nature unconcealed transparent for all to see, than it wear a friendlier face to deceive the world as it did in the 90s when the kind looking killer Mohammed Khatami* was president-offering the West a phony "dialogue of civilizations" as an olive branch for peace.
*Khatami was one of the architects of Hezbollah and an ardent supporter of Hamas and its genocidal war against Israel.
However, will Ahmadinejad deceptively unclench his fist and reach out to Obama luring him into a diplomatic trap and raising false expectations of peace? Raising hopes that a grand bargain on nuclear weapons and terrorism can be reached? Could be that he'll do just that with the crazies on the Left urging Obama on to Tehran believing that Iran's post-election unrest, isolation and economic woes are softening Ahmad and the mullahs when they are planning a humiliating blow (see essay below: Freedom's Dangerous Fool).
