Barack Obama, the first racist president since Democrat law professor Woodrow Wilson*, used the Gates Affair as an opportunity to shame white America over its alleged ingrained, incurable racism toward black Americans; and to give credibility to Eric Holder's perverse view that when it comes to "things racial" we are "essentially a nation of (moral) cowards."
*Wilson was Dean of Princeton University where Michelle Obama earned a degree in sociology.
Now that America knows the truth about the Gates Affair: that race had nothing to do with Gates' arrest, this president who used race as an election strategy; who said that he "loved" Luiz Lula da Silva (Brazil's racist demagogue president*); who sat in an Afro-centric church for twenty years lovingly listening to the toxic rants of a bitter racist loon; this president has now made himself look like the rash, blundering, race baiting fool that he truly is.
The president who was supposed to make a huge spiritual difference in our lives setting an example of moral excellence for all the world; who was to "bring out the better angels of our nature," and be our racial uniter and healer-in-chief, is in reality a cheap political exploitor of racial resentments and tensions; a morally petty and smallminded man who shrinks in size with the passage of time; a profile in racial bigotry and moral cowardice who makes me ashamed that he's my president and leader of the Free World.
* Da Silver made the shocking claim that "White blue eyed devils were the cause of the global financial crash."
Postscript: Reconciliation?
After lying his way through a press conference on health care reform our mental and moral mess of a president embarrassed himself by playing the race card in a non-racial law enforcement matter. Then two days latter he covers his arse by inviting Gates and Crowley to a pow wow at the White House to make love not war. But it was too late. Reconciliation was an afterthought when Obama's foray into race baiting backfired. The White House beer fest will change nothing for Obama and Gates. When the meeting is over they will remain racist bigots seeing White America as incurably, irredeemably anti-black.
