On his 196th day in office Barack Hussein Obama turned 48 years old.
48 is a factor in the following numbers:
144-the 44th number in the 100 series denoting Obama's presidency.
1104-denoting the date 11-04 or November 4th when Obama was elected 44th president.
1776-denoting the year when the founders defiantly rebelled against the tyranny of the British Crown and declared America's independence.
1872-Denotes the year when Republicans retained control of the Presidency and Senate and picked up dozens of seats in the House to significantly increase their majority.
1920-denoting the year of a deep recession with double digit unemployment when Democrats lost the presidency and suffered huge losses in Congress.
1968-one of the most violent and tumultuous years in American political and social history; a year of assassinations, urban riots and violent antiwar protests-especially in Chicago. It was also the year when Republics captured the White House.
Furthermore, as Obama was born in 1961 the first year of John F. Kennedy's tragic presidency 196 is a factor in 1960, the year that Kennedy was elected President.
Kennedy won election on November 8, 1960. Assuming that Obama's mother was a full 9 months pregnant upon giving birth this would put the date of Obama's conception in early November, around the time of Kennedy's election.
Revolution, social unrest, political defeat, double digit unemployment, the election of a tragic president, Obama's first birthday in the White House is not an auspicious sign for the rest of his presidency, and not a good sign for America in the days ahead.
Postscript: Carter, Obama and LBJ
In his comment on this piece GunnyG predicts that Obama will end his term in office a far worse President than Jimmy Carter. The signs concur that he is right. How? On October 1, 1977 when Carter celebrated his first birthday in the White House, like Obama is doing today, he was 53 years old. Amazingly the number 53 is a factor in the numbers 1908 and 1961, signifying the years that LBJ and Barack Obama were born. Like LBJ and Carter Obama is fated to be a failed one term President, perhaps worse than both combined.
