Congressman Joe Wilson speaks truth to liars
What we witnessed last night in the House Chamber was a weak and desperate President Obama struggling against reality and refusing to accept his Waterloo (see); a president giving his last impassioned plea to a skeptical public to trust him on health care; that his plan is good for America; that it will be deficit neutral and won't bankrupt our economy. When Rep. Joe Wilson, speaking truth to power (or truth to liars), cried out to Obama " you lie" he spoke for the millions of us who see through the half clever charade of this lying radical Alinsky leftist; the seemingly smart dissembling collectivist who pledged in July-and meant every word-that he will not sign a health care bill unless it has a robust public option-or some form of it. Obama's rhetorical trickery that his plan is the happy mean between extremes: the Left's single payer plan-socialized medicine-and the Right's free market solutions is nothing more than the mainstreaming and camouflaging of his radical leftwing agenda-proved when he came out in favor of a public insurance program that would compete with private insurers. Studies show that such a plan would force insurers out of business and dump over 100 million working Americans into the government system at enormous cost to taxpayers, to the quality of medical services and to the GDP-part of Obama's nefarious plan to diminish our affluence and end American Exceptionalism (see).
THE INHUMANITY OF SOCIALIZED MEDICINE
Anyway you cut it Obama's end game is a single payer government run totalitarian health care system. Medical Communism plain and simple inhumane in its rationing of life saving drugs, surgical procedures and necessary health care services. The paths to health care tyranny are many and Obama knows them all; he doesn't care how we get there just so long as we do.
As I said elsewhere Obama is the "hopelessly unchanging one" "struck deaf, dumb and blind by the egalitarian idea" and the collectivization of American life-our organization into a unified national community: The United Socialist States of America-an abomination of the Constitution and American Dream. Obama's middle name "Hussein" is a clue to his ideological intransigence and tragic self-destructive fate (see). It's Obama's way or no way; either you're with him or against him; it's SOCIALISM OR BUST; and BUSTED he will be as his vision for America is not our national destiny (see and see).
Postscript I: Not the First, but the Last
In his speech Obama spoke, what I believe to be, the prophetic words: "I am not the first president to take up the cause of health care reform, but I am determined to be the last." As his cause is the crushing of health care liberty no president or lawmakers after Obama's crushing defeat, the Waterlooing of ObamCare will dare take up this cause again. Let's make sure Obama gets his wish and becomes the last radical leftist president in US history.
Postscript II: Joe Wilson and Obama's Campaign Pledge on Illegals
Not only was Wilson's emotional outburst justified however uncivil, but, as reported by Rush Limbaugh today, Obama sponsored legislation in both the Illinois and US Senates to extend health care coverage to illegals-who he wants amnestied into citizens. Even if Obama doesn't intend to sign a health care bill that covers illegals they will get coverage anyway once he and the Dems grant them US citizenship. For it was this same Barack Obama who pledged to Hispanic groups during the campaign "that comprehensive immigration legislation, including a plan to make legal status possible for an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants, would be a priority in his first year in office (see)." Obama and the Dems have many ways to skin this cat and all of them must and will be opposed and defeated.
