Why does Barack Obama lie and lie and lie? And then shamelessly lie about lying*? What is it that drives this man to damage his integrity and veracity whenever he parts his lips to speak about his policies? The answer is this: When your mental and moral existence is ideologically defined by a BIG LIE about human salvation, destiny and history; a lie that's been discredited by historical experience and is hugely unpopular with the people; the lie of state created equality bringing happiness and the good life to all; the lie of Communism, Socialism and Egalitarianism; in short, the lie that turned the 20th century into a graveyard for millions; when this lie is your truth and reason for being then deceiving the public into believing that it's something very different-something traditional, familiar and good-becomes a moral necessity.
*At one Townhall meeting on health care Obama told the crowd: "My only fault is that I'm truthful to a fault."
The Egalitarian lies for justice, lies for morality, lies for social redemption and humanity; he lies for his distorted view of reality believing that he has the final truth, the ultimate answer to mankind's manifold ills. Such ideologues believe their own lies; see no reality outside of their lies; accept no facts that contradict their lies; will not let opposition stop their lies believing that lying their way to the "truth" and deceiving a nation is completely and nobly justified. The end not only justifies the means it excuses it.
Every one of Obama's lies on economic, energy and healthcare policy is informed by his war on free enterprise, the profit motive, prosperity and liberty which he believes keeps society in a state of mortal sin: in perpetual economic and social inequality; which keeps us from realizing the true revolution, the only real revolution, the utopian revolution of a classless society of economic and social equals domestically and globally. No high or low, rich or poor, weak or strong, superior or inferior; a society of uniformity, conformity and sameness like a regimented army "all for one and one for all" and no one for himself.
It is this impossible dream at war with God and human nature* that is blindly driving Obama to political doom; driving him like Captain Ahab in Melville's Moby D-ck willing to destroy his ship and crew to hunt down and kill the great white whale-the evil beast which to Obama's mind is DEMOCRATIC CAPITALISM.
*God is not a socialist if He were we human beings would have all been created the same, the same in spirit, soul and body; a good analogy of a socialist God's creation would be the uniform society of robots in the Will Smith film I Robot. Intellectually Socialism is only compatible with Atheism. To believe in a Creator God and be a socialist like Obama is to be involved in a huge, irreconcilable contradiction.
In Melville's novel Ahab lost his leg to Moby D-ck in a previous voyage and has sworn to avenge his loss by capturing and killing him. Likewise the modern Ahab in the White House is a morally injured man outraged by the inequalities, "injustices" and "oppression" he sees in society; the inequalities of income, outcome and condition; the "injustices" caused by economic and intellectual liberty, the free use of our faculties and God given talents and gifts for selfish reasons or social ones. Inequality exists in America falling short of her true potential and founding ideal of a "more perfect Union*;" and Obama is hell bent on changing it whatever the cost or consequence; however unpopular and massive the opposition; however damaging to our country's security and well being.
*This is Obama's name for what LBJ called "the Great Society."
Obama once said that his "personal salvation is impossible without collective salvation." He said that "we can only succeed individually when society succeeds together." Meaning that America saved from injustice, unfairness, inequality and greed is OBAMA REDEEMED. Those who oppose Obama's plans for collective social salvation are keeping him unfulfilled in a morally miserable and broken state. Until society is repaired and socialized Obama will remain in damnation a spiritually imperfect and incomplete being*, a denizen of capitalist hell. As with Ahab in the novel Obama believes that his goals are divine and "immutably decreed," that he will "overcome all things" by whatever means and that victory in the end shall be his.
*As this moral posturing can't be defended rationally is it any wonder that the Left hates dissent and wants to shut down debate?
That Obama is that monomaniacal, insane and self-destructive is proved by his endless train of deceptions and lies in the face of indisputable facts on climate change, healthcare costs, the printing of money and deficit spending; he can't stop or help himself; he's been a true believer for thirty years; the lie has become second nature and there's no changing him. Obama's all sail and no anchor, with "righteous winds" blowing at his back. He's convinced that God Almighty, his "partner" in politics, has given him this time in history-this rare unique moment which may never come again-for "fundamental and foundational change;" to radicalize and revolutionize America; to rearrange our national priorities and redirect our destiny come what may. The time has come to end the American Dream; to "outgrow childish things*;" to save us from the sins of self-interest, avarice and greed; to free us from the cause of inequality: free markets and individual liberty-the great principles undergirding this Republic; the ideals that define our destiny making us the beacon of hope and wonder of the world.

In the end Captain Ahab was defeated and killed by Moby D-ck entangled in his own harpoon with the injured whale dragging him out to sea. And so will it be for Barack Obama as his obsessive quest to subdue and destroy the whale of free enterprise, the greatest engine of human progress and prosperity, ends in failure and political suicide for himself, his party and egalitarian creed. Liberty is America's destiny as Obama's disastrous failure in Statism will prove to all posterity.
Postscript: The Class Warfare President

On Tuesday when Obama delivered an impassioned speech at an AFL-CIO convention in Pittsburgh his presidency it seems reached a new and disturbing low. What I saw was an angry, bitter, frustrated man desperately reaching out to his base by resorting to the demagoguery of division and class warfare. Gone was the great healer and uniter of last year's campaign; gone the post partisan candidate and social peacemaker. Gone the promise of a new and enlightened leadership. Obama's vision of a unified America gave way to a country divided between haves and have nots as he promised his union base economic justice with free health care security and government handouts to all.
Obama became the Defender in Chief not for every American but for the working poor; the laborer against the rich, exploiting, oppressive employer who makes millions off their backs while they work for scraps struggling to make ends meet-a speech that could have come from Michael Moore and foreshadows punishing tax hikes.
This was the real Obama taking off his gloves and showing his hand; this is his real distorted vision of this country and world view, declaring himself president of one America against the other, dividing citizen from citizen, class from class, brother from brother. The great uniter is dead as he intensifies the war between liberty and tyranny, freedom and equality, Right and Left
Postscript II: Leadership in Crisis
Coming on the heels of the racifying of Joe Wilson for his liar remark in the House Obama's class warfare speech in Pittsburgh is an ugly sign that he and his handlers are resorting to the politics of division to save his failing agenda and presidency. Those who accuse Obama of dishonesty and trickery on health care reform are branded red neck racists, or racial traders if they're black. Questioning the wisdom and success of his economic policies means siding with the oppressive exploiting, greedy rich against the working poor and unemployed. Criticizing his diplomatic efforts and foreign policy makes you a warmonger opposed to world peace. This is symptomatic of leadership in crisis; of intellectual and moral bankruptcy; a White House, liberal media and Democratic Party empty of ideas and losing their grip on reality.
