The Norwegians awarded Obama the Peace Prize because they share his infantile views of talking the world into peace and nuclear disarmament. Doubtless the members of the Nobel Committee were greatly impressed with Obama last Spring when he assured Benjamin Netanyahu that military action against Iran wouldn't be necessary because he Obama would save the day and take Israel out of harms way with "an argument that would persuade the Iranians to abandon their nuclear weapons program (
see )." No sanctions, no embargoes, no military strikes; argument is the way to disarmament and peace. This is why I call Obama "the Michael Jackson of American politics (
see )," and why Sarkozy-his best friend among world leaders-mocked him for his dangerous reality problem (
see).
Bill O'Reily is wrong: awarding Obama this undeserved prize is not without its consequences as it reinforces his delusions of self-grandeur, his utopian views of peace through diplomacy and weakness and his insane mission to diminish America and appease a world injured by American greatness, greed, arrogance and George Bush*. Obama sees the Peace Prize as a sign to stay the course as he blindly leads America and the world into conflict, crisis and war.
*The 2009 Peace Prize was in reality the Bush Derangement Syndrome Award.
Postscript: Deserving the Undeserved Prize
Obama is a petty, small-minded, vainglorious man who under the guise of deep humility said that he was undeserving of the prize; then grabbed it greedily with both his hands because it flattered his false self-image as a great and gifted man. If he didn't deserve the prize for lack of accomplishments these last ten months it nevertheless, for him, was a sign of great achievements to come-expectations shared by the Nobel Committee who took a page from The Audacity of Hope when they voted to give him the prize.
