What we are witnessing under the clueless, incompetent, misguided presidency of Barack Hussein Obama is not just the willful weakening of US prosperity, power and prestige for ideological reasons but the radical Carterization of American foreign policy setting the stage for global conflict, upheaval and war. Indeed, Turkey's recent betrayal of America and the West (see) by joining the Axis of Jihadist States-Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas-is reminsecent of Jimmy Carter losing Iran's pro-Western government of the Shah to the America hating radical mullahs.
Ironically, and as a sign of losing Turkey to radical Islam, Obama's visit to Ankara last April fell on the 91st anniversary of Woodrow Wilson's declaration of war on Imperial Germany and the Central powers-which included the Ottoman Turks (see below). Incredibiliy, hours after Obama delivered his fawning speech from Ankara a young Canadian Turk stole a single engine plane from a Canadian flight training school and flew it across the US border landing it unintentionally in CARTER County, Missouri (see).
Not by chance was Obama elected President on the 29th anniversary of Carter's Iran Hostage Crisis. Not by chance did Obama start nuclear negotiations with Iran on October 1st of this year, Jimmy Carter's 85th birthday (see)*.
*October 19th, the first actual day of Iran nuke talks, was one year to the date of Joe Biden's warning that Obama would be tested with a major foreign policy crisis (see).
Just as Carter's feeble and feckless presidency, which gave us a 444 day hostage crisis (with one failed rescue mission), convinced Ayatollah Khomenie that America was a helpless giant that "can't do a damn thing;" so too has the pathetic Carter-like appeaser in the White House, and his obsequious, contemptible pandering to the Islamic world, convinced Turkey's Islamist Prime Minister that America, Israel and the West are on the losing side of history; and that the future belongs to the deadly forces of Islamic terror and tyranny.
With the loss of Turkey to the enemy camp America continues to lose the "zero sum game" of international power politics which our dumb a$$ president refuses to play, treating it as contemptibly beneath his wisdom and dignity*. There will be hell to pay for this childish stupidity as the emboldening of our enemies continues apace and the world becomes a more dangerous place.
*The game of power politics is fueled by national self-interest political and economic. Obama in his naivety is trying to change the nature and rules of the game by abandoning national self-interest-what is good for America-for a greater encompassing global good: universal equality where all nations are equal in wealth and power and living at peace free from the deadly threat of Global Warming. He is vainly trying to humanize a predatory world and lead it by example into this wonderful new age. But Obama's example is taken for weakness by vicious enemies who are intent on our destruction and want to replace us at the pinnacle of world power. Instead of a new world of justice and peace Obama is blindly taking us in the opposite direction and leading the world into greater conflict, aggression, bloodshed and war (see ).
Postscript
Early German victories in World War I convinced Turkey to join the Central Powers believing it was the winning horse in the war. Similarly, Obama's diplomatic blunders, defeats and gutlessness have convinced Turkey to decisively break with the Western World and join the anti-American Islamist cause. Turkey is now our Islamist enemy thanks to Barack Obama.
