Genuine greatness Pint sized pretender
I saw Clint Eastwood's Invictus last night. It was a good film about a truly good and great man Nelson Mandela, South Africa's first black President, impeccably played by Morgan Freeman who richly deserves an Oscar (
see). If I was ashamed of Barack Obama being my President before I saw this film I was even more so for having seen it. Mandela who spent 18 brutal years of a 27 year prison term in hard labor for leading a justified violent struggle against South Africa's apartheid regime underwent a transformation and became a forgiving post-racial, post-partisan Lincoln-like leader upon his release. Compare this morally great Nobel Prize winning President, who struggled mightily to unify his bitterly divided nation and heal its wounds, to the partisan, racial, divisive, cowardly, immature fool we have in the White House and you will understand the depth of my revulsion, moral disgust, outrage and shame.
Postscript I: Challenge to Obamacons
I defy any one to give me one example of President Obama showing any real greatness or moral leadership such like Nelson Mandela did as President of South Africa. All I ask is for one example, or half of an example, in these last 11 months. Even a pint sized example will do. Open my eyes and prove me wrong that there is something great and noble in Obama as there is in Mandela or was in Dr. King, Frederick Douglas and other great black leaders in history.
Postscript II: Master of His Fate and the Anti-Mandela
From the moment he took office as President of South Africa Mandela was a moral force to his people showing heroic leadership as a healer, redeemer and racial peacemaker. From the first day of his presidency Obama the "Great National Healer" has been a divisive, polarizing moral disaster trashing the constitution and defecating all over our free way of life and flag. Mandela was the Master of his Fate Obama is fate's plaything and prisoner. Obama is truly the anti-Mandela (see).
Postscript III: John Bolton on Obama's Nobel Prize Speech
John Bolton was spot on when he criticized Barack Obama's overlong, tiresome, disingenuous, "shallow" Nobel Prize speech on The Factor and told Laura Ingram: like Barack Obama Neville Chamberlain and Jimmy Carter believed that there was evil in the world; like Obama they weren't pacifists and believed in just and necessary wars; and like Obama they believed in defending their countries from aggression. But neither of these two men knew how to effectively confront and stop evil and defend Britain and America from it.
But to say that Barack Obama is another Neville Chamberlain or Jimmy Carter is an understatement. He is worse than both men combined; he is both men completely deranged and on steroids. For never in the history of the modern world has the elected leader of a democratic state sort to tear down and radically change his nation during war time. In this way this leftist leader from the pit of hell is truly unprecedented; perhaps an unprecedented catastrophe in the making.
