God creates and directs the mortal world according to His benevolent plans, giving the events of human history a rich symbolic meaning.
In the Comments section of Barack Obama and the "Curse" of the Kennedys Fabius Cunctator writes in condemnation of me and my method of interpreting events:
Numerology, Divination and the Future
1) God is in control. He determines the rise and fall of Nations and of men.
2) If we live according to God’s will, He will bless us and our Nation.
3) The future is not determined by the perceived coincidence between the dates of past events and the birth dates of historical figures connected with those events.
4) Numerology, sorcery, divination, and wizardry that are used to predict the fate of men and the course of history or events are condemned in the Bible.
The making of predictions based on numerology has the implication that mere number manipulation has the power to determine the mind of God and that God has given numerologists the special status of being His messengers to communicate warnings to other lesser mortals. Hence, numerologists seek the adulation of men through their number manipulation and by the implication that they are capable of understanding how God, through numerical omens, is warning us of future events.
5) Numerologists are in danger of the wrath of God because they are prophesying according to their imaginations and not on the basis of the teachings of the Bible or on special directions directly from God. In other words, numerologists are adding to prophesy in contradiction to the Bible which condemns this practice.
6) Finally, numerology implies that men are constrained by a preordained plan for the future, and those men; therefore, do not have free will which makes them responsible for their actions

Please reconcile for us your belief in a God who determines, wills, ordains (predetermines, preordains) the rise and fall of nations-meaning their destiny and purpose in history-with your implied belief that individual heads of state-especiallly powerful and influential states like America-are somehow exempt from or unconstrained by (because of free will) the overarching, predetermined destiny of the nations they lead.
My vision for America and its leaders is simple: As no American President is greater than this nation, and America is not greater than Almighty God and His invincible plans then whatever be God's Will for America's exceptional destiny is that leader's inescapable fate (free will and all). That goes for Obama as it did for George Bush, and you or I if we were President.
In the work that I'm doing on the anti-Reagan, pro-Islamic (see), secular progressive Barack Obama, the first President since Reagan to win office on a November 4th election date where he broke two powerful, converging Republican election cycles rooted in the 19th century (which I'll soon be writing about), I have discovered an impending, divinely willed catastrophe* which our nation must endure for its renewal, salvation and destiny-our destiny of liberty and mankind's best hope as "the shinning city on a hill."
*The national shock treatment of Obama and the Democrats isn't over. The first year of this administration is prelude. Obama and the Dems aren't through taking a wrecking ball to our economy, foreign policy and national security.
If these are the thoughts of an evil, wicked, satanic sorcerer then all those patriotic Americans of deep religious faith who look for signs and omens of hope and grace, of God's directing hand in the chaotic whirl of events, are in trouble with Him.
