Obama may be more red than black, but a Vladimir Lenin he is not.
I respectfully disagree with those who believe that there's an intentional leftwing conspiracy underway headed by Barack Obama to collapse the economy* for political gain and more power grabs. That would be suicidal and makes no political sense. Obama is a shallow, clueless, weak, boyish, incoherent radical fool and not an evil hardened Lenin-like genius with a diabolical master plan to seize absolute power and realize his dream of a United Socialist States of America (called by him "a more perfect Union"). Those who believe this give Obama too much credit as he is a mediocre man with delusions of grandeur ideologically stuck on the stupid idea that egalitarian justice is the solution to everything from the economy to strategic policy. True, Obama wants to "fundamentally and foundationally” transform America into a European style socialist nanny state for a start; but he has no way or roadmap for getting there within our brilliantly devised conservative system of divided government-a system that Obama hates even more than the Conservatives who defend it. Such a transformation-Obama’s hopeless mission and imagined fate-is not America’s destiny as the Tea Party movement and recent elections unmistakably show. In fact, Obama’s lashing out at the Supreme Court and Congress in his State of the Union was an expression of his scorn for and disgust with our divided, difficult, checks and balances system of government which hampering and blocking his radical agenda he cannot overcome without massive public support. This was Sol Alinsky’s dream of a super iron willed charismatic leader winning the White House and coming to power in times of chaos and mayhem; and, promising order and radical change, leading the masses in victorious revolt and making the revolutionary future of total state control a reality. But this plan has boomeranged or “Obamaranged” as our first Alinskyite President instead has caused a populist backlash against his leadership and confused, destructive big government schemes (see).
*Diminish our economy yes, collapse it no; such a thing could only push the country farther to the Right. Is Obama that much of a blind man that he can't see this?
As Obama’s dream of transforming and collectivizing America turns to dust; as the realization slowly dawns that he’s not the “chosen one” for anything other than the discrediting of his progressive creed and the revival of traditional values, constitutional norms and the Reagan Right, a desperate Obama fighting against the quick collapse of his presidency (predicted by me
here ) will is taking the path of Woodrow Wilson campaigning to exhaustion to conquer public opinion just as Wilson vainly attempted when he fought heroically* for the League (see ). Get ready for the spectacle that will wow the Left but end in utter defeat-the unwinnable battle to save Obama's presidency and socialist dreams that started in Baltimore at the GOP retreat.
*Wilson was willing to risk his health and presidency to persuade America to join the League of Nations.
Postscript: Totalitarianism and Transnationalism
The two key elements in Obama’s vision for America and its place in the world are totalitarianism and transnationalism. By totalitarianism I mean the creeping ascendancy of government control over the totality of our lives; and by transnationalism I mean the ebbing away of America’s independenace and sovereignty by subjecting it to the authority of international bodies like the UN and the International Court of Justice. Those who deny the truth of this, that this is Obama’s radical vision for our country, are either liars or fools. But for those unsure with open minds who want to learn the truth I advise three things: listen to Glen Beck*, read David Horowitz’s Barack Obama’s Rules for Radicals (
see) and consider this :

*The very vigilant, wise and great Glenn Beck is a little too paranoid and emotionally extreme in believing that Obama has some brilliantly conceived plan to turn America into a totalitarian state. Obama can increase his czars a thousand fold but without the people he is lost; and from here on in he’ll boldly try to win their hearts and souls as he doubles down and goes into the Wilsonian evangelical mode.
