HOW CAN WE GET UNEMPLOYMENT DOWN TO
USING OBAMA'S METHODOLOGY?
When I heard today's unemployment stats from the Labor Department for January, that the jobless rate had dropped by 3/10ths of a % down to 9.7 while the private sector lost 20,000 jobs (adding no one to the workforce), it dawned on me how Obama overnight could virtually abolish unemployment reaching the historic low of 0% without giving work to every jobless person in a massive public works program. Now since all of us rightwingers want Obama to fail, not because he's a lefty but because he's a blacky, you mustn't share this secret with him lest he use it to save his hide and win a second term. For the secret of collapsing the unemployment rate to zero, the secret of survival staring Obama in the face, is to discourage every jobless person looking for work to stop their search. Those who cease looking may be without jobs with starving wives and kids to feed; but they're not among the truly unemployed by Obama's methodology.
On the other hand, if you want to drive Obama from presidential power and guarantee a Republican sweep come November the way forward is clear: do the reverse of the above and get the jobless millions who are sitting on their useless butts to go job hunting again. The unemployment rate would soar into the depression sphere of 14% or more, and Obama and the Dems would be toast.
In sum, we reach zero level unemployment by stopping the jobless from looking for work; while depression level unemployment requires the reverse. Welcome to the Orwellian world of Obama unemployment.
