The desperate left's "lethal" weapon for attacking the non-existent boogey man of right wing anti-government terrorism being incited and planned by Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann and Tea Party patriots.
My last word on "violent rightwing extremism" to the secular socialist left is this: with all the suicidal political violence that Obama, Pelosi and Reid are doing to themselves and their party-by the unpopular government takeover of the economy-we don't need to lift a seditious or violent hand against them. We don't need an armed rebellion or coup to end their rule and bring them down. Obama, Pelosi and Reid (the Three Blind Mice) are the gift that keeps on giving midwifing a rebirth of constitutionalism, individual liberty, free market capitalism and the Reagan Right. These three leftwing fools are a gift and blessing from heaven; the greatest assets we have for decimating and marginalizing the Democrat left and putting it out of its misery.
The bankrupt, exhausted, collapsing left will need to do more than yell "SEDITION!" to stop us. They will need to do more than accuse us of inciting violence against them to defame and defeat us. In truth, their feeble lies and smears are powerless to halt our gathering momentum to victory. A people united can never be defeated! And we are the people! As their ruinous dream of an egalitarian entitlement society disintegrates; as their seditious* plans for a social justice nanny state turn to dust, it is they who'll resort to violence to stop us.
*Seditious of our founding ideals, constitutional norms and the popular will.
Terrorizing himself with fantasies of Timothy McVeigh rising from the dead Bill Clinton is in danger of giving himself another massive coronary. For the sake of your health and well being Mr. President, get a grip.
Postscript: When the Revolution Fails
As I wrote in the comment section to Ben: It remains to be seen what the radical left will do when their smears, lies and fearmongering of violence fail to stop the tea party express and Republican return to power. Will they turn to violence as a last resort making good the threat of Andy Stern that "when the force of persuasion fails we'll use the persuasion of force?" And what will the left do in the post-Obama era after the failure of Alinsky's "bloodless revolution?" Will we see a revival of the Weather Underground with shootings, bombings and death?
