Unlucky for Democrats but not for the GOP
Monday in my piece about Obama, Bernanke and the Fed I posted my discovery that the number 13, with its multiples and variants, is being used, I believe, by Providence as a numeric sign to indicate the misfortune that's overtaking Barack Obama and his party and their failed panaceas of spending, borrowing and printing of money for fixing our ailing economy (see). I noted that driving the Conservative resurgence and Tea Party revolt against the Dems is our growing, unsustainable national debt and that the word DEBT had a numeric value of exactly 13. What I didn't realize at the time was the role that Jimmy Carter and the 95th Congress (controlled by the Dems) played in the catastrophe that's engulfing the Democrats today.
THE COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT ACT
In 1977 Jimmy Carter, the 39th President (39 is a multiple of 13 3x), signed a bill into law that has come back to haunt and hurt his party. This was the now infamous (and still unrescinded) Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) which forces banks to make bad loans to uncreditworthy, minority, low income home buyers. It was the radical expansion of the CRA by the Clinton administration, and the Fed's low interest easy money policies, that created the housing/credit-bubble/collapse (the sub-prime loan scandal) that brought down the economy that Obama, Bernanke and the Democrats can't fix. But this is where it gets fascinating:
1.The acronym CRA has a numeric value of 13, hence:

391=13
2. The CRA's statute number 91 Stat. 1147 is a multiple and varient of 13, hence: 91 13x7. and the digits of the number 1147 equals 13 (1+1+4+7=13)
3. October 12, 1977 the day Carter signed CRA into law was the 265th day of his presidency*. Like 1147 265 is a variant of the number 13, hence: 2+6+5=13
*January 20, 1977 (Carter's inaugural) to October 12, 1977=265 days.
4. The number 265 is a factor of the number 19875 (75X). This gives us the year 1987 when Alan Greenspan become Chairman of the Fed.
THE FED'S DUAL MANDATE
From its inception in 1913 the Federal Reserve's mission was "to maintain price stability and preserve the currency as a store of value." But 64 years later that mission was to change and be dangerously enlarged. Indeed, on November 16, 1977, 35 days after Carter signed CRA into law, the 95th Congress (controlled by Dems) amended the Federal Reserve Act giving the Fed a dual mandate to "promote the goals of maximum employment, stable prices and long term interest rates." As George Will points out "the last two goals are really one (see)." It was Bernanke exercising this "dual mandate" that resulted in the failed $1.7 trillion QE1 program to expand the money supply on the theory it would loosesn up the "credit freeze" ignite economic growth and create tons of jobs. Instead the stimulus money left our shores seaching and finding better returns overseas. The damage that this foolishness has caused Obama and the Dems has been extraordinary in the extreme-and Bernanke is at it again with QE2 (and possibly a QE3).
Now as QE1 was the real economic stimulus plan to create "maximum employment" and end the Great Recession, with ARRA (Obama's $860 billion political slush fund) as its deceptive disguise, Bernanke's failure with QE1 has completely discredited Obamanomics and crushed the Dems on Election Day.
Now as the number 13 has symbolically indicated misfortune and collapse for Obama and his party it is fascinating to note that the Fed's "dual mandate" has a statute number involving this ill-omened number. For that number is 91 Stat. 1387 (see note 1).
Amazingly, the words "dual mandate" and "maximum employment," the new Fed goal of 91 Stat. 1387, has a numeric value of 112*. This number gives us the date 11-2 or November 2nd when the Democrats suffered their massive historic election defeat. It also gives us the number of the 112th Congress with the House controlled by the GOP.

THE 13TH YEAR OF THE 21ST CENTURY AND THE 113TH CONGRESS
As the number 13 is an ominous sign for Obama and the reckless spendthrift statist Dems-but auspicious for the forces of freedom and fiscal sobriety-it's unlikely that a Democrat will be President in 2013, and more than likely that the GOP will win the Senate and take control of the 113th Congress. In short, the 13th year of the 21st century will likely be a new beginning for American Conservatism, the Republican Party, and, hopefully, the progress of freedom around the world.
13 AND THE 2012 PRESIDENTIAL RACE
The word THIRTEEN* has a numeric value of 45 which is the number of the President after Obama. Now 45 is a factor of 1980 44x. As 1980 was the year that the Reagan Revolution began the Republican candidate in 2012 who convinces voters that he/she is the true heir of the Reagan legacy will win the Republican nomination and go on, I believe, to win the presidency.

13 IS A SYMBOL OF FREEDOM
As the American War of Independence against British tyranny began with a revolt of 13 colonies turned states 13 is a numeric symbol of our founding values, principles and ideals. In other words, 13 is symbolic of FREEDOM*. That this number is profoundly inauspicious and antipathetic to Obama and his statist Dems (with their model of government entitlement nanny state dependency) is a sign that the future of America doesn't belong to them; and that their catastrophic loses have been ordered by Providence.
