I FEEL YOUR PAIN. NOW STEP ASIDE SON. LET ME SHOW YOU HOW IT'S DONE.
As of today, December 10, 2010, William Jefferson Clinton has started a new chapter in his politically active post-presidency as Mentor-in-Chief to the blundering, desperate, unfit to command, clueless amateur in the White House.
The question now is this: Can Obama become the new empathetic "I feel your pain" Bubba? He tried to be the new Abe Lincoln and failed. The new JFK and failed. The new FDR and failed with a new New Deal for America that failed. But can Bubba rescue Obama's failing presidency-save it from complete Carterization-and teach him to be the new amiable, charming, warmhearted centrist Bill Clinton? It's not even possible. He just doesn't have it in him. Obama's too thinned skinned, incompetent and ideologically driven with no executive, legislative or leadership skills. Indeed, the man who raised expectations of being the next great transformational communicator after Ronald Reagan turns out to be an ineffective telepromptikator too bloodless, cerebral and false to spiritually connect with the folks. Just as Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Reagan are far beyond Obama's reach so too is the very gifted Bill Clinton.
Go to your room Barack. And don't come out until I'm finished..
