THE BANNER OFJIHADIST VICTORY OVER EGYPT'S REVOLUTION
THE PROGRESS OF EGYPT'S DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION
First came the downfall of Hosni Mubarak on the 32nd anniversary of the Iranian Revolution-a sign prefiguring what was to come. Then came the inclusion of Moslem Brotherhood fanatics on a panel to rewrite Egypt's constitution. Then came the massive million man rally in Tihrir Square for the neo-Nazi Khomeini-like cleric Yusef Qaradawi (from which secular speakers were banned) where he called for Israel's destruction to wild applause. Then the Egyptian military lifts a thirty year ban on Iranian warships using the Suez Canal. Then days ago the regime releases a 1000 violent jihadi terrorists from prison in an amnesty program that included the man who masterminded Sadat's assassination and al-Qaida leader Ayman Zawahiri's younger brother*. And now on the dire day that Barack Hussein Obama started a pointless war with Libya, (the eighth anniversary of Shock and Awe) the Egyptian people voted on a package of amendments for a new constitution. And today comes the bad but predictable news that the Moslem Brethren and Salafist fanatics are on their way to victory. That post-Mubarak Egypt will be theirs. With a third of the vote counted the Egyptian people show overwhelming support (65 to 90 percent) for the amendments (
see). This means that new, democratic Egypt will have Islam for its official religion, and Sharia law as the basis of all legislation. No seperation of mosque and state. No secular constitution. No freedom of religion or rights for infidels, gays and women.The Islamic Republic of Egypt is at hand! Woe to the Camp David Accords! Woe to peace with Israel! Woe to the progress of the region toward modernity. The star of Radical Islam is rising! War and chaos are coming to the Middle East!
*M Zarahiri was rearrested by Egyptian authorities on Sunday for unspecified crimes committed years ago. The Obama Administration must have rasied hell over his release.

Read HERE and weep. The complete Islamization of Egypt now begins. It will suprise no one here that this catastrophic administration praised Egypt on the referendum which empowers Islamists like never before.
Postscript: Article 2 of Egypt's Constitution (thanks Bob Spencer)
The panel of experts that proposed the amendments that were voted on Saturday did nothing to reform or change Article 2 of the existing constitution which states: "Islam is the religion of the state. Arabic is its official language, and the principal source of legislation is Islamic jurisprudence (Sharia)." Under Mubarak and his secular predecessors Egypt's penal code was Western, while Sharia was applied to personal matters such as marriage, divorce, inheritence cases, etc. Now that is going to change.
As Islamist were on this panel it's no wonder that Article 2 wasn't touched and that the Brotherhood was for the package of amendments (it intentionally favors them); while Christians and liberals who wanted a secular constitution (amending and secularizing Article 2) opposed it. As Islamists become more powerful in Egyptian politics and government they will use Article 2 to Shariaize Egypt and turn it into a full blown Islamic State.
