This 4th day of April 2011 is as ominous a day as they come possibly warning of a daring jihad suicide plot to kill president Obama. For coinciding with the announcement of Obama's reelection bid on the 43th anniversary of Martin Luther King's assassination was Eric Holder's expected reversal to try Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (proud, unrepentant mastermind of 9/11) and four co-conspirators in military court. Today was also another day of anti-US rage in Afghanistan (a country we invaded because of 9/11) with two US soldiers shot dead by an Afghan police officer* as Koran burning protests continue unabated for a 4th ugly day (see).
*This may have been a Taliban/al-Qaida assassin disguised as a border policemen.
Also today saw another blow to the failing cause of liberal democracy in Egypt as the Moslem Brotherhood announced plans to form a Saudi-like sharia morals police to counter indecency and immoratlity in public places (like kissing and holding hands, or immodest women wearing high skirts). Praise be to Allah. The Islamization of Egypt continues as the region goes Islamist and lurches toward worsening tension, turmoil and war (see).
