IN OBAMA WE DISTRUST
In my last piece I simply tried to connect the dots between the President's weak, timid, cowardly nature and his hesitation and indecisiveness for seven months to go ahead with Operation Neptune Spear-the mission to storm bin Ladin's compound, take him out, and dump him in the sea (joining father Neptune with a trident in his gut). However, if the embarrassing truth of Obama's seven months of dithering should become controversial Obama will likely have the story changed. That's the nature of the game. The new story (if there be one) might go something like this: the September 2010 date for the CIA concluding that the Abbottabad compound housed a high value terrorist target was wrong. What he might say is that after months of painstaking surveillance work, starting in September or August of last year, the CIA reached this conclusion in February or in March-not September. To defend his new, false laughable image as a tough, decisive, heroic leader (Biden's "spine of steel") replacing the dithering, vacillating, appeasing fool, Obama will be compelled to greatly shorten the time between the CIA's conclusion and the bold Navy Seal operation on May 1st.

Postscript I: The Bogus Authorization of the B-2 Bombing
As for the bull about the authorizing then canceling of the B-2 bombing reported originally by ABC News (
see ) Team Obama could say that ABC got the story wrong. That the bombing was never authorized as first reported; that it simply was an option that Obama never signed off on favoring instead the more difficult and gutsy Navy Seal mission. That's how the story would likely be spun if it were to become an issue.
Postscript II: Obama's 60 Minutes Interview
“At the end this was still a 55/45 situation,” said Obama in his 60 Minutes interveiw Sunday.“I mean, we could not say definitely that bin Laden was there.” What Obama didn't say, and we are starting to realize, is that these 55/45 odds had remained unchanged since September when circumstanial evidence gathered by the CIA pionted to a high value al Qaida terrorist residing at the compound; evidence based mostly on Bin Laden's courier (info elicited from waterboarding terrorists) being observed entering and exiting the compound-and it fitting the profile of a hideout.
