Yesterday's contest at the UN was between a hate driven, bloodthirsty, Palestinian pigmy and a peace loving, civilized, larger than life Jew, the glory of his people and the Western World. Israel and the Middle East have never had a greater voice for moral clarity than this man; a voice inspired by the ancient Prophets in a region of lunatics twisted by bigotry, fear and intolerance tottering on destruction. Netanyahu spoke the truth to insanity in a house of vipers and lies; and his speech will be remembered long after he dies-after more war and calamity engulf the region to awaken it from the delusions of Islam.
Postscript: Moslem Injustice And The Blindness Of The Left
Ask any liberal if they believe that racism is injustice, cultural imperialism is injustice, religious intolerance is injustice and they will agree, and say that these evils need to be fought everywhere if humanity is to live in peace. But when you point out to them that it is these very injustices that furiously drive the deadly Arab/Moslem jihad against Israel they will grow indignant and deny it. Why? Because it doesn't fit into their emotional world view that Moslems in general, and Palestinians in particular, are the world's greatest victims, and as such need compassion, understanding, and lots of hugging and appeasement to sooth their wounds and right the wrongs done to them. But when appeasement is tried and fails the reason for the liberal is always the same: "it wasn't enough," they say; "more concessions are needed to end the hurt and pain." In other words, give, give, give until you appease yourself to death, and give victory to evil in the end. That is the way of the left.
