Is Hillary the answer to saving the messiah?
The desperate attempt by this reckless, irresponsible, blame-everyone-but-me, demagogic, divisive, class warfare president, and the despicable, degenerate, self-destructive OWS, to scapegoat Wall Street "plunderers" and "greedy, undertaxed corporate execs" for the disastrous failure of Obamanomics isn't working. The message that the 1% super-rich caused the financial/housing meltdown of 2008, and are now prolonging the recession and economic pain by stealing wealth from the rest of us, (the 99%) isn't catching fire. In poll after poll the voters reject the leftist lie that fixing the economy is simply a matter of redistributing wealth from the top 1% to the rest of us. They reject the lie that the $860 billion stimulus was undersized and that tax hikes on America's job creators are needed to boost GDP and create millions of new jobs through accelerated government activism and spending. Alarmed at the burgeoning deficit and debt the American people said in 2010 "We've spent enough." But Obama and the Dems don't get it. Indeed, blaming the rich and protesting inequality and a growing income gap isn't a solution to anything, including Obama's fading reelection dreams. Obama and the Left are running out of tricks. With the discrediting and collapse of OWS (Oakland was ablaze last night) Obama's last hope for a second term hinges on one thing and one alone: Hillary Clinton replacing gaffe-a-million Joe as his running mate. He has nowhere else to go except calling it quits like Truman and LBJ did. But Hillary can't save the falling messiah. Given the central role her husband played in the sub prime/housing crash of 2008 (this would come out in the campaign), and a radicalized, deteriorating Middle East (it's on the brink and could explode before election day), Hillary on the 2012 ticket wouldn't fly and win over Independents needed for victory. They are gone never to trust Obama again as he betrayed them on the debt and deficit, and on reforming the way Washington did business (O is crony capitalism on steroids). Obama/Clinton 2012? Again I say, BRING IT ON!
Postscript I: Joe Biden Foretells Hillary As O's Veep?
Could it be that Hillary replacing Biden as VP was foreshadowed by one of Biden's major gaffes made during the 2008 campaign? This is fascinating. Six days after the GOP convention with McCain and Palin leading in the polls, Biden let out a whopper at a New Hampshire rally when he praised Hillary and said that she "might have been a better VP pick than me (see)." A sign of things to come? We shall see.
Postscript II: OWS Oakland Riot
What happened in Oakland last night was this: OWS called for a general strike to shut down the city. The people of Oakland ignored them and went to work. The OWSers flew into a rage and shut down the city port and rioted. The silence from Washington is deafening. But then again the OWSer occupying the White House is deaf, dumb and blind.
