AN OMINOUS SIGN: PUTIN'S NEO-STALINIST RUSSIA SENDING NUCLEAR ARMED WARSHIPS TO SYRIA IN SUPPORT OF ASSAD

Looks like the chickens of Obama's appeasement policies toward Vladimir Putin's Neo-Stalinist Russia are coming home to roost. Russia (a huge arms supplier to Syria) has

joined Iran, Iraq, Hezbollah and Venezuela in supporting the brutal Assad regime against the Arab League, the US and NATO. By sending nuclear armed warships to Syria (Russia's strongest Mideast supporter during the Cold War) Putin is preempting any attempt by US and NATO to replicate what it did in Libya in the removal of Muammar Kaddafy from power (see and see). The Russian ships will obviously dock at the port of Tartus, which over the years has been renovated by Russia for use as a permanent Mediterranean base for the Russian fleet (this was in retaliation for US involvement in Georgia and the Ukraine).

Is this the beginning of the deadly US-Russia clash that I predicted several years ago from the catastrophic crash of US and Russian satellites over Siberia? This unprecedented disaster occurred just three days after Joe Biden was in Munich (symbol of appeasement and birthplace of WWII) announcing the resetting of US/Russian relations.

Postscript i: Putin Vs. Obama

As leaders of powerful states what is the essential difference seperating Vladimir Putin from Barack Obama? The one stands by his country's allies and friends, the other abandons them. By far Putin is the more impressive, effective and respected world leader.

Postscript II: NO MORE LIBYIAS

"I predicted this very scenario back in August in response to Raimondo's article "D-Day for Damscus (see)" Syria, unlike Egypt under Sadat, never turned its back on Russia. The Russians reciprocated in 1973 during the October War when an aerial bridge to Damascus was established to keep the Syrian army fighting alone against Israel until early December whereas Sadat had capitulated by October 23. This special relationship has been reaffirmed by Putin and an important Russian Naval Base is now operational in Tartous. This is of such importance that the latest hypersonic cruise missiles in Russia's arsenal have been deployed to sink any Nato/US/Israeli ship that may present a threat to Russian/ Syrian coastal installations. In addition, some of the most advanced short and medium range air defense missiles are now operational in Syria. An air-sea attack on Damascus will not be as easy as you think. The emperor [Assad] might get stung. This will be military intervention at a cost.....Perhaps that is why you implied a WWIII scenario in your article."

Looks like Putin is drawing the line in the sand and warning the US and NATO, NO MORE LIBYAS.
