The Iranian Hostage Crisis, which began on November 4, 1979 and continued 444 agonizing days, was a huge factor in undoing the presidency of Jimmy Carter. Will Iran play a similar role in defeating Barack Obama who was elected president on November 4, 2008, the 29th anniversary of the Iranian Hostage Crisis?
First our gutless, unfit to command, leftist President practically betrays his oath of office to defend and protect the United States against its enemies when he refused to support the Iranian people's democratic revolution against a totalitarian Islamic regime sworn to our destruction, and now this idiocy! Beseeching Ahmadinejad "to prosecute" and bring to justice those responsible for breaking into and vandalizing the British Embassy when it was a regime directed action (see)? As seven months of risky inaction preceded Obama's decision to take out bin Ladin (see) it's now been three years of dithering and pussyfooting with Iran hopelessly hoping that they'll see the light, grab his hand and negotiate an end to their nuclear weapons program. In severing its ties with Iran's central bank David Cameron and the "worst than Satan" Brits are showing more balls than Obama in punishing the mullahs for building the bomb and sponsoring of global Islamic terror. Bringing down Iran's Islamo-Nazi "DEATH TO AMERICA" genocidal regime must be central to US foreign policy; and must be the position of the GOP presidential nominee in the 2012 campaign.
