I empirically assert from the evidence that we are in a world war, a civilizational war where most of the Islamic world is caught up in the frenzied jihadic dream of imperial restoration of its lost empire and caliphate. Islam wants to be powerful again and that means for us an ongoing conflict for decades to come whether we like it or not.
