On the day I took office, our auto industry was on the verge of collapse. Some even said we should let it die...... I refused to let that happen. Since the late 19th century 745 US automakers went bust. Today I am proud to say that Chrysler and GM won't be joining them.
He didn't heal the planet of its many terrible ills, or restore unity, peace and prosperity to this land. Islam and America are unreconciled still; and the Arab Spring which he enabled is rushing toward the abyss. But the 4th greatest president ever (behind Lincoln, Washington and FDR) did manage one miracle that's up there with Moses parting the Red Sea: he singlehandedly saved the US auto industry. Don't take my word for it, he said so in his SOTU speech to the standing ovation of delerious Dems-with Boehner grimacing behind him foiled by his success. It's unbelievable I know, but Chrysler is back and GM's number one again.
Though this miracle began with Bush's bailout plan we can't count him as Obama's co-savior-in-chief. Why? He backed John McCain to succeed him as prez. If this cruel, mean-hearted deficit hawk had won the election what do you think he'd have done? Stopped the bailouts dead in their tracks forcing GM and Chrysler into bankruptcy court (see). A perilous gambol as their reorganizations might have failed with the companies going the way of Checkers, Nash and Rambler. Then where would we be? Left with Ford, Toyota, Honda, Kia, Nisaan, Suzuki and Mercedes. That would have been a tragedy. There can't be an America without GM-what was saved was our national destiny. Thank God for Barack Obama messiah of the US auto industry, builder of an America that lasts, leading us to the promised land.

THE CAUSE OF GRIDLOCK
Like Obama Reagan and Clinton had divided government. But unlike Reagan and Clinton who accomplished great things Obama lacks leadership skills, governing skills, and negotiating skills. In short, Obama's great personal deficiences are the principle cause of gridlock and dysfunction in Washington.
Newt Gingrich is married to the US Constitution, American Exceptionalism and restoring national prosperity and greatness, and that's good enough for me.
THE COME BACK AGAIN KID
Conventional wisdom says that Newt Gingrich wouldn't stand a chance against Obama in November. But so far the Come Back Again Kid is defying conventional wisdom.
I LOVE ANN COULTER
What true Conservative doesn't? But Newt Gingrich has done more for the Conservative movement than 100 Ann Coulters and her wonderful wit, books, articles and interviews. Ann is wrong about Newt being unelectable. As Thomas Sowell says, Obama has way more baggage than Newt: THE BAGGAGE OF A DISASTROUS PRESIDENCY WITH A STAGGERING $15 TRILLION DEBT THAT'S GRECIFYING AMERICA AND IMPERILING OUR FUTURE. The country has greater cause to fear Obama's reelection than Reaganite Newt's personal shortcomings and flaws.
