Obama delivering his fawning and failed Moslem Outreach Speech in Cairo to an audience filled with implacable anti-American Moslem Brotherhood supremacists. Currently he's more unpopular in the Arab world than George Bush, and America's image in the region is worse than ever.
Obama is a man who's long on brains but terribly short on wisdom and good sense. Ignorant that he's ignorant, blind to his blindness, stupidly stupid he stumbles about in an office he's unsuited for making one mistake and blunder after the next while blaming the consequences of his foolishness on everyone and everything-as if he were the gold standard of human perfection and eveyone who disagreed was mad. But who can he blame for his great unpopularity in the Moslem world especially after his "historic" speech at Cairo two years ago? The purpose of the speech, given at a university auditorium filled with Moslem Brotherhood scum, was to undo the damage done during the Bush years to US/Islamic relations in what would mark a "new beginning." This was to be the first step in reversing the consequences of the Bush Doctrine and repairing things. But it proved to be the wrong step forward-wrong because Obama's understanding of Islam (despite his Moslem family roots) is shallow and naive like his understanding of the economy that he can't fix with his anti-growth economics of fairness and tax the rich. In this overly long and boring 55 minute speech Obama, oblivious to 14 centuries of Islamic aggression, war and genocide (going back to its founder) separated Islam from violent Moslem extremism as if militant groups like Al Qaida, Hamas and Hezbollah weren't authentically Moslem or Islamically rooted in the barbaric atrocities and crimes of the murdering, lawless prophet Mohammed.
Practically every one in that extremist audience shared the ancient belief in Mohammed's near divinity and infallibility; that he was the most perfect of God's human creatures, and that his terrible deeds and sins were God inspired actions worthy of emulation that only Moslems could understand. Separating Islam from terror, imperialism and endless war (through militant and nonviolent means) as Obama did in his speech (and continues to do in his failing administration) is the error of the politically correct, know nothing Left who having fashioned an Islam of make believe divorced from truth viciously attack anti-jihad realists like myself as Islamophobic hate driven bigots and obstacles to peace. The Obama presidency is teaching us about the folly of the Left and their dangerous PC ideology.
Egypt's pro-Islamist, anti-US military regime in virtually holding Ray LaHood's son and other Americans hostage shows the utter folly of Obama's Cairo Moslem outreach speech where he effusively praised this religion of intolerance, injustice and war for its cultural, intellectual and scientific achievements as if it were a force for progress, peace and good in the world. Trying to flatter his way into the hearts and minds of Moslems by lying about Islam, or exaggerating its accomplishments, Obama failed miserably because he was unconvincing. Most Moslems weren't fooled by his stage show, rhetoric and smiles; seeing through his insincerity and guise they said to themselves, "If Obama truly believes in the greatness of our faith then why isn't he a believer? Why does he define himself as Christian? Who is he kidding?"
Predictably the great dissembler and self-deceiver, who had hopes of transplanting his cult of personality to the Arab world, got nowhere with his Moslem audience-as he soon found out when his favorability rating on the Arab street wound up in the gutter sinking to new lows of disgust and contempt exceeding George Bush.
Obama's Moslem Outreach Initiative is in ruins as the Arab (Islamist) Spring, which he touted in his State of the Union as an achievement of his presidency, comes crashing down on his bewildered head. By election day 2012 much of the US electorate will see the Arab Spring uprising as an Obama Moslem outreach disaster of catastrophic proportions.

Postscript I: Obama's Iran-Like Hostage Crisis
With the blessing of the Moslem Brotherhood, who Obama has been butt kissing for years, Sam LaHood and the other Americans trapped in Egypt are HOSTAGES not unlike what happened in 1979 Iran. Instead of quickly resolving the situation and letting them return home Egypt's Islamist military junta has sent a delegation to Washington to negotiate the terms of their release with the Obama administration. The junta got Obama by the balls. This is an election year and the junta knows that the last thing Obama wants is a full scale crisis like Carter had in 1979, as it could mean the end of his presidency. The junta is looking for concessions and will get them. What a joke. If Obama caves in, as he's likely to, more of this kind of extortion will follow as it will set a precedent for the rest of the year up till election day.

Of course this failure of a president wants a second term badly (see).
Ignore the pretentious nonsense that the nation needs him to restore the American Dream (read Obama's utopian cradle to grave nanny state dream). His indespensibility is all in his muddled head. Driving his quest for reelection is the need for a second chance to prove himself: that he's every bit the exalted being, the new Abe Lincoln, FDR, John Kennedy or whatever, that he and Michele imagine him to be. If he's defeated in November the illusion is shattered and he miserably joins James Buchanan, Hoover, LBJ and Carter in the one term Presidents' Hall of Shame.
