In an article comparing Barack Obama to Jimmy Carter entitled "Jimmy Carter All Over Again," Robert Spencer writes, "the parallels [between Obama & Carter, Mubarak & the Shah and the Egyptian & Iranian revolutions] are so close, they’re almost eerie (see). "Almost eerie?" Read the following and tell me it's not UTTERLY TOTALLY AMAZINGLY EERIE.
Obama was elected president on November 4, 2008, the 29th anniversary of the Iranian Hostage Crisis. When Obama forced Mubarak out of power, like Carter forced the Shah, it fell on February 11, 2011, the 32nd anniversary of the Iranian Revolution. When the Shah, who was suffering from pancreatic cancer, fled Iran he took refuge in Egypt-Mubarak eerily suffers from pancreatic cancer.
And one other very eerie mindboggling fact, which I wrote about several years ago: hours after Obama delivered his fawning speech in Ankara, Turkey (his first from a Moslem capital) a Turkish Canadian stole a single engine plane from a flight training school in Canada and flew it across the US border landing it in Carter County, Missouri- forced down by F-16s. On April 9, 2009 I wrote that this was an unmistakable sign that Obama's speech that day was the start of his re-Carterizing of US foreign policy and making a mess of the Middle East. Now adding to the turmoil of the region and US/Egyptian/Molsem relations we have 19 Americans going to trial in post-Mubarak Egypt-that's 19 of 44* people eerily corresponding to Obama's presidency number (see). Does Providence have a hand in this? Eerie are His ways.
