Rejecting Islam as God's ultimate truth and answer to everything is no different from physically burning the Koran as if it were a worthless piece of garbage.
Not only is it demeaning for a US President and leader of the Free World to apologize for the accidental burning of a book that sentences all infidels to death or slavery for unbelief, it's also entirely futile. The only apologies from infidels acceptable to Moslems are the kind that are followed by surrender or conversion to Islam. To truly atone and show sorrow for the burning of the Korans-and undo the damage to US/Moslem relations-Obama must embrace the book as God's only path to salvation, justice and world peace. Anything short of that and Allah will do to Obama's soul what the US soldiers did to the Korans. Burning Obama in effigy is prelude to that.
Afghan students burn Obama in effigy as a warning of his afterlife destiny if he refuses to end his unbelief and kiss the Koran his soldiers mistakenly burned.

KARZAI DEMANDS TRIAL FOR DESECRATORS
Obama apologizes to Karzai for Koran burning and the Afghan leader graciously responds by demanding that the desecrators be put on trial by NATO for blasephemy under Sharia law. If found guilty that means death. Where are Karzai's cries to bring to justice the killer of the US colonel and major who were shot point blank in the back of the head yesterday? Appearently their deaths aren't enough to appease Karzai's lust for US blood. Using the word "futility" to characterize Obama's apology is an understatement. It was madness.
ABU GHRAIB, THE LEFT AND THE KORAN BURNINGS
As the Left held Donald Rumsfeld responsible for the crimes of Abu Ghraib and called for his resignation where is their outcry against Leon Panetta over the "crime" of US troops burning several Korans and igniting such deadly mayhem in Afghanistan?

It's reported that a NATO troop killed an Afghan protester outside a NATO compound that came under attack by a mob of granade throwing Moslem maniacs who wounded several soldiers. It seems that the entire Middle East is blowing up in the Great Amateur/Appeaser's clueless face.
NATIONWIDE MANHUNT FOR KILLER OF TWO US SOLDIERS
What are the chances of this cowardly Moslem killer being captured and brought to justice? He is a hero with the Afghan people executing justified Islamic revenge on infidel soldiers like those who burnt the Koran, and will most likely be protected by his savage tribe or the evil, murdering Taliban.
