Did Obama bribe Jew hating, genocidal Palestinian thug Mahmoud Abbas to return to the negotiating table with Israel to advance his reelection prospects? Senseless leaders like Obama only prolong the conflict by giving hope to the Palestinians in their quest to defeat and destroy Israel.
When the Obama Administration threatened to veto the UN vote on Palestinian statehood last year the US Congress appropriately reacted by imposing a ban on $200 million (see) intended for the terrorist Palestinian Authority for various "humanitarian" projects*-this move was to punish their heedless persistence in pushing hard for the vote in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 242 which calls for a negotiated settlement with Israel-which the Palis agreed to in 1993. Then in February, over US objections, the hate driven genocidal Palis applied for and were granted membership in UNESCO (which once expelled Israel) to the disgrace and infamy of that rogue organization (see).
*As always the money will be used to fund the Pali jihad against Israel.
So after threatening to veto the UN vote on Palestinian statehood, then opposing Palestinian membership into UNESCO what does our crazy, inconsistent Nobel Prize winning president do over the weekend? Citing our "national security interests" as the reason he rewards the Palis for their monstrous evil by overriding Congress and unfreezing the desperately needed $200 mill (see). Most everyone is utterly puzzled by this move and with good reason given what preceded it and the bizarre explanation. But this is an election year and there might be a method to Obama's seeming madness.
For after Obama avoided a politically damaging hostage crisis with Egypt by shelling out $5 million in ransom (see) for Sam LaHood and 18 Americans (and billions in IMF/World Bank loans) it could be that this $200 mill is a bride (or jizya) to revive Pali-Israeli peace talks (which collapsed in January) before Election Day WITHOUT PRECONDITIONS*. Not to achieve peace mind you, which is impossible at this time in history, but to make Obama look good now that his poll numbers are slipping again and his reelection hopes fade. National security interests my a$$. Did Obama secretly tell Pali chief Mahmoud Abbas what he told Medeved last month when the mike was on? Did he say, "Come back to the negotiating table with Israel and help get me reelected. In my second term I'll have more "flexibility" to come down hard on Israel and Bibi Netanyahu." Is that the deal Obama has with these sick twisted Arab villains? I'd bet the barn on it.
*Such as a freeze on building new settlements in the West Bank and accepting the 1967 outline for a two-state solution as a precondition for talks.
