FAST AND FURIOUS, WATERGATE AND OBAMA'S OMINOUSLY BAD TIMING TO INVOKE EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE

The self-Nixonization of Barack Obama.
 

On June 11 on Atlas Shrugs (see) I posted the following comment about the House vote due to occur on June 20th on contempt charges against Eric Holder for withholding documents pertaining to Operation Fast and Furious.
 
"JUNE IS AN OMINOUS MONTH FOR WHITE HOUSE SCANDALS

It was in June 1972 that the Watergate break in occurred that led to Richard Nixon's downfall. In fact, it was on June 20th that an 18 minute gap appeared in the tape recording of the conversations between Nixon and his advisers regarding the recent arrests of Liddy, Colson and the other Watergate conspirators (see).

BTW, Eric Holder is clearly the most unethical, dishonest and corrupt Attorney General since John Mitchell, as Obama is the most slippery and deceitful president since Nixon."

But who could have anticipated yesterday's shocking event? Who could foresee Obama, the most secretive, corrupt and lawless president since Richard Nixon, doing for Fast and Furious by invoking executive privilege to protect Eric Holder what the 18 minute gap did for the budding Watergate scandal? As Richard Nixon once said, "It's not the crime. It's the cover-up." And now it appears that we have a cover-up of Watergate proportions-or worse than Watergate because of the death of Brian Terry.
 
Will this scandal completely ruin Obama's chances of reelection? Will the next Deep Throat appear with evidence incriminating Obama in the scandal? Will an unreelectable Barack Obama resign from office before election day leaving Biden in his place-or Hillary Clinton if she replaces Biden as VP? I don't know. But what I do know is that the worse scandal of this presidency is the economy; and no president who came directly from the US Senate finished out their first term*.
 
I have a great deal more to say about this scandal-things that will astonish you. But this will do for now.
 
*Harding and Kennedy, the only two active US Senators other than Obama to be President died before completing their first terms. Moreover,James Garfield who was the Senator-elect of Ohio before he won the presidency also died in office.

THE PRESIDENTS' HALL OF SHAME

The trajectory of the Obama presidency has been downhill from the start when he became the first US President to bungle the oath of office-doing so on the word "faithfully." Now as the hour glass on his presidency runs out Obama is moving fast and furiously to presidential infamy soon to join Herbert Hoover, LBJ and Jimmy Carter in the one term presidents' HALL OF SHAME.

Where's John Dean who wrote this ridiculous book about the "authoritarian"  Bush administration called: "Worse Than Watergate"? For the sake of fairness Dean should write a second book on the Obama administration called, Worse Than Watergate Squared.
