The sad face of defeat on a day of bad economic news.
The recovery that never was keeps on getting worse as our Economic Failure-in-Chief, with his trickle growth economic policies and demoralizing, spirit killing leadership, blows his reelection bid by sending GDP and jobs growth painfully into reverse. Congrats Mr. President, Wreckovery Summer IV is officially here.
If Obama can't fix the economy (what government can as it can only fix itself) what can he do for our healthcare system, a thing far more difficult and complex? As his intervention in the economy has prolonged the Great Recession and caused nationwide distress what horrors await the medical system when ObamaCare's fully implemented? I'll tell you: scarcity, rationing, long queuing lines, bankruptcy and death. A mess on top of a mess making the imploding Canadian and UK systems look healthy and efficient. On Election Day this leftist Reign of Lies and Error must and will end as Obama becomes the third Democrat president defeated by a GOP contender.
BTW, today is George Bush's 66th birthday-the man who defeated the incumbent Democrat Party for the presidency in 2000 with Florida giving him the win-the state that will host the GOP convention in Tampa next month. 66, now where did we see that number recently? It was the number of days separating Obama's stumble in Tampa with the start of the Republican Convention-the ominous fall of a failing president on way to defeat (see).
.
As this bad jobs report falls on Bush's birthday, will Obama spend the day blaming him as usual? Will "Happy birthday Mr. Bush, you made the economy so bad nothing I do can fix it." be Obama's inspiring message today? Watch out for my next piece called, "Bush's Revenge."
Postscript: Bush 41
Today is 41 months and 16 days into the awful Obama presidency. It is also 123 days to Election Day. 123 is a multiple of 41 3x; it is also a factor of the number 19926 162x, a number that gives us the year 1992 when Bush 41 became the last one term president. An interesting and perhaps meaningful coincidence on George W's 66th birthday.
UPDATE:
Obama was in Poland, Ohio when the unemployment report was released. That's POLAND as in the country that Obama insulted on a number of occasions; the country with the fastest growing economy in Europe due in large part to a 19% corporate tax rate, one of the lowest in the world. There is an economic message here one, I'm sure, tax and spend Obama will ignore. Romney should seize upon this.
