Obama just can't get away from the number 13.
Robert and Willy got it: "ANNIVERSITY" was a new term I coined to denote that the Obamas would suffer a day of misfortune, adversity and defeat on their 20th wedding anniversary; and like George H. W. Bush, during whose presidency they were married (31 days from his defeat) Obama would be a one term president; and because of Mitt Romney's steller debate performance Wednesday Obama is on his way-phony unemployment stats or not.
-----------------
In a presidential debate between a seasoned, experienced, thoroughgoing professional (who understands free market Capitalism, and how to fix and robustly grow a broken economy) and a failed rank amateur in economics (who ideologically confuses the spending, spreading and redistribution of wealth ("fairness") with WEALTH CREATION) the pro, of course (depending on his debating skills), will more often win because of his good sense and wisdom. Obama is no match for Romney on economics; and before November 6th most Americans will see that.
-----------------
The trajectory of Obama's presidency has been downhill from the start with unsustainable bumps and boosts along the way; it has never gone airborn because the economy's not gotten off the ground; and now that the recovery is in retreat and Romney is advancing in debate Obama's moving forward to reelection defeat.

My Prediction Of The October Unemployment Surprise
I'll be posting a piece on this.

OBAMA: HERBERT HOOVER DAMNED
Sam Morris
/ Las Vegas Sun. President Barack Obama talks with Janel Brawner-Potucek, left, and Rob Skordas while visiting the Hoover Dam on a break from debate preparations Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012.
I learned Thursday morning about Obama's ominous visit to the Hoover Dam (named after Herbert Hoover) one day prior to his debate with Mitt Romney. Now when you're a president running for reelection presiding over a terrible economy, and you're opponent is a wealthy governor from a northeast state, what you don't want to do is visit the Hoover Dam before your first debate-lest you wind up Hoovering yourself into a one term presidency.
Now, of course, there's no causal connection between Obama's visit to the dam and his debate debacle Wednesday night. But it was, I believe, a sign of things to come for November as I've been saying for years warning Obama that he'd end up like Herbert Hoover (our 31st president 13 removed from him: 31+13=44). In fact, when Obama visited the dam Tuesday it was 35 days to Election Day; when multiplied by 552 35 gives us a five digit number encoded with the year 1932 when Governor Roosevelt defeated Hoover in a landslide, hence: 35x552 =19320. This is a sign of reelection armageddon for Obama

Chris Matthews Has an Epic Meltdown After Obama Loses Debate
The leg thrills are being replaced by frightful chills. On Election Day shockwaves of fear for the future of the Left will run up his spine.

Better a two dimensional Mitt than Barack Obama the economic half wit (and I'm being generous).

After Romney is sworn in as President Boiie will be writing columns about his "meaningless presidency."

Romney Gave No Specifics
The great unmatched moment of specificity in Obama's 08 campaign came when he revealed himself as the great planetary messiah and national redeemer who'd specifically stop the rise of the oceans and heal the earth while saving America from division, disunity and strife in a more perfect ("perfectible") union. If only Romney could rise to such a level of lofty specificity he'd walk away with the election. (sarc)
---------------------
This is ideological insanity and confusion and shows just how unfit and dangerous Obama is for the presidency. This utopian leftwing progressive loon actually, absurdly and childishly believes (as does everyone in his creed) that a society of imperfect human beings can somehow be perfected by a government run by flawed politicians and bureaucrats; and they're willing to double and triple our national debt to get there on the assumption that when we do it will pay for itself and all will prosper. But only God is Perfect Being, and His creatures must of necessity fall short of His glory forever. Government is no more God on earth than human beings are perfectible Gods in embryo.

Why Obama Wouldn't Look Romney In The Eye?
Romney's exuberent, aggressive but measured self-confidence was too much for the sullen, thinned skinned, listless Obama. It was unexpected and he was intimidated. This was not the Mitt Romney Obama was prepared for or wanted to debate or can debate effectively. Romney completely surprised him and now is beating him. The opposite was the case in 2008 with John McCain. During the debates Obama was mentally jamming McCain and throwing him off his game. McCain couldn't be McCain and he looked weak and inept compared to Obama. But Obama can't be Obama today (the 2008 version) for reasons explained below.
----------------------
The Left Want The Old 2008 Obama Back
But they can't have him as long as he's president. As soon as Obama entered the White House something vital went out of him-much of his mojo was lost. Some presidents are energized by the office and are made larger by it: Washington, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, JFK, Reagan, Clinton, George W. Bush for example; while others are diminished and weakened by it: John and John Quincy Adams, James Buchanan, Taft, Hoover, Carter and Obama. Obama is unsuited for the presidency and the old Obama is buried under it.

Maher is absolutely correct. Without the teleprompter the Great Teleprompticator is lost. If Mitt Romney is a truly decent and compassionate man then he'll mercifully let Obama use a teleprompter in the next debate to level the playing field. We can't have Romney debating from a position of superior moral and mental strength. It's unfair and unkind to our affirmative action president
