OBAMA, HILLARY, RICE AND BENGHAZI-GATE

Lie for me Sue and I'll put you in Hillary's shoes.

The security of  embassies and consulates (like the destroyed facility at Benghazi) comes under the aegis of the State Department, not the Ambassador to the UN; and consequently a month after the al Qaida attack, which killed Ambassador Stevens and three aides, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in her most direct comments on the murders up till then took responsibility for them. Then why did Obama send Susan Rice to do his dirty work on those five Sunday morning shows and not Hillary, as Charles Krauthammer said? Of all his cabinet members Hillary's voice would be the most authoritative on consulate and diplomatic security. Why Rice and not Hillary?

The answer that makes the best sense is that Obama wanted Hillary to go but she respectfully declined. Hillary wouldn't touch it; she went as far as she would go in supporting Obama's politically driven deceptions and lies about Benghazi being a murderous flash mob attack in reaction to a stupid video. Standing by Obama in the Rose Garden when he wrongly called the attack "an act of senseless violence" (not a rational pre-planned terrorist operation which he knew it was), then issuing a video the following day condemning the anti-Islam film as un-American, was enough for Hillary. She wouldn't compromise her integrity any further by blatantly lying to the public for Obama on news shows (
see). That was left for the less principled Rice to do as if she were a mindless puppet with Obama pulling her strings while reading from a radically altered CIA script approved by Axelrod. And for being his stooge and conspiring with him on Benghazi Obama may have offered Rice Hillary's job. But she will never get it.
