ABBIE HOFFMAN AND THE 1960S ROOTS OF THE OCCUPY WALL STREET MOVEMENT

The rowdy, subversive, kill Capitalism/Wall Street movement, of losers, drug abusers and fake victims of the rich, is awakening the sleeping monster of destructive sixties radicalism to the detriment of our sixties born president and big government Dems. It is significant that these mindless crackpot regressives, who call for tripling the size of our busted federal government (when most Americans want less of it) began their protests shortly after the 44th anniversary of the radical counterculture's first assault on Wall Street. This happened on August 24, 1967 when Yippie prankster Abbie (Revolution For The Hell Of It) Hoffman caused a sensation when he and twelve other leftist loons stood on the gallery of the New York Stock Exchange and rained down dollar bills on the trading floor below causing pandemonium (see). At one point in this bit of leftist guerilla theater Hoffman set ablaze a five dollar bill to show his contempt for money, investment profits and free markets-he was later to earn money as a drug dealer. At the time this writer was a strung out hippy living in the East Village who wished he'd been at this event not with Hoffman on the gallery, mind you, but on the trading floor catching those bucks for food and pot money.
 
When Hoffman and company entered the exchange requesting a grand tour he signed in as "George Metesky and friends." Metesky, the "Mad Bomber" from the 1940s and 50s, terrorized and injured New Yorkers for years by planting bombs in theaters, libraries, terminals and office buildings. Using Metesky's name was symbolic that Hoffman's Wall Street antic was the opening shot in a revolutionary war to destroy the exchange and capitalist system. Years later Hoffman said about the prank, "In the minds of millions of teenagers the stock market had just crashed." Crashing the system is what Hoffman and the Yippies were about-just like their ideological descendents today in the utterly mad punish the rich, trash corporate America campaign.
 
Don't be deceived by the virus like spreading of this disease. This is the desperate cries of a dying order. Aging, sick, soon to die Ali Khamenie hoping against hope that the bitter, unhinged, radical left movement to destroy US capitalism will succeed so that medieval, totalitarian Islam can prevail.

Perhaps it's Islamo-Nazi, nuclear Iran's answer to Barack Obama's Moslem outreach initiative. As part of an ongoing campaign to partner with "extremist groups, drug traffickers and other outlaws based in the Western hemisphere*" Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenie, in a jesture of friendship and solidarity with the national anti-US movement to overthrow democratic capitalism said yesterday that it "reflects a serious crisis that exposes America's corrupt foundation that will ultimately topple American capitalism." Confident that America is finished as a great world power and that Iran will replace it as the dominate global hegemon Khamemie predicted that attempts to crackdown on the US movement would fail, and that it would "ultimately grow and soar and bring down the unjust capitalist system and the West (see)."
 
*Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, the Republican chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
 
In other words, Iran's supreme, murdering, repressive leader sees Allah's vengeful hand as directing this movement of useful imbeciles to defeat unbelief and enable Islam's restoration of the caliphate-and he will do everything in his power to assist it in sowing mayhem and discord to hurt and weaken the Great US Satan. As this mindless mob of leftist losers, and aging burnt out sixties hippies, has welcomed the support of subversive Moslem extremists (see and see) Khamenie's triumphalist speech will be seen as a signal to American-Iranian radicals (such as accused Iranian bomb plotter Mansour Arbabsiar) to penetrate the destructive movement and advance its insane course.

The genocidal terror masters of Islamofacist Iran warned the Saudis that their military intervention in Bahrain ("with the underhanded support of America*") to suppress a massive Shiite led Arab Spring rebellion to topple the Sunni monarchy would have consequences and "boomerang." And this foiled plot to kill the Saudi ambassador to the US in a Washington mass causality attack at a packed DC restaurant is what Iran likely had in mind (see and see).

BAILING OUT THE LEFT, OR NO BUMS LEFT BEHIND

Protesters affiliated with Occupy Wall Street are moving uptown on Tuesday and plan to demonstrate outside of some of New York's richest residents' homes. 
What is the Occupy Wall Street movement? The terminal convulsions of 1960s counterculture radicalism.

What do the filthy, dirty, violent, mooching leftist losers of the anti-American, business hating, Occupy Wall Street movement want?  One poster slogan says it all, "THE BANKS GOT BAILED OUT WE GOT LEFT OUT!." In other words, these bankrupt human beings want to be bailed out like the banks, not by the government which is broke, but by the financial institutions and corporations which busted the government when billions were given them. These empty, miserable, envious souls are greedy for corporate wealth; for that $2 trillion dollars in sidelined cash that corporate America is sitting on unspent because of regulatory uncertainty. In other words, they want what isn't theirs, want what they haven't earned, want what they're not entitled to. In short, they "want the world and and it now!" as acid freak Jim Morrison sang in the 60s. This is the last hurrah of Woodstock Nation; the terminal convulsions of 1960s counterculture radicalism; its last collective fling before it burns out and dies. It is the hard left's last shot at transforming the American Dream into an egalitarian communist nightmare-the revolution that never came, Obama's "More Perfect Union." These fringers want the banks, financial institutions and corporations to pay their fair share, not to Washington but TO THEM; to subsidize their non-productive, hedonistic, drug abusing, rock n roll lifestyles. Those who have given up on life and lack the will to succeed want a new, massive spread the wealth program tailored to their desires and needs. The time has come for the real revolution. The time has come for NO BUMS LEFT BEHIND.

Not a chance! The gap between the two movements is so great you can drive a galaxy through it. The Tea Party's opposition to the bank/corporate bailouts is based on limited government constitutionalism, fiscal responsibility and lower taxes to stimulate economic growth and create jobs. OWS opposition is based on pure envy, class warfare and false victimization. They want bigger more powerful government that takes more resources from the private sector and redistributes it to them regardless of the economic consequences to the rest of us. The two movements are unbridgeable, irreconcilable, and on an ideological collision course.

The Infernal Arab Spring murderously strikes again this time killing 24 Christian Copts and injuring 200 in Cairo's Liberation Square where just eight months ago Copts and priests were bravely marching arm in arm with Egyptian Moslems and clerics calling for the ouster of Hosni Mubarack. What began as a peaceful Coptic demonstration, protesting the rampant persecution and killing of Christians and burning of churches in post-Mubarack Egypt, turned deadly when Islamist thugs and Egyptian security forces attacked the protestors with sticks, stones and bullets. Coptic protestors simply want to be respected for their faith and treated as equals in a new democratic Egypt protecting basic human rights. But the rise of the Islamofascist, Koranically correct, intolerant Moslem Brotherhood is drawing the country back in time to the dark ages. Treating Christians as the enemies of Allah and Islam (sinners for their unbelief) Moslem Brothers demand conversion or tyrannical submission to their supremacist faith. It's either convert, submit, be killed or leave. This is the way of Islamic justice and law as practiced by Mohammed in 7th century Medina, and believed in by most Moslems in the region where Christians are being attacked and killed daily. HuffPo this morning is running a front page piece about a Marx quoting Egyptian Arab Spring activist named Mohammad Ezzeldin addressing anti-Wall Street protesters at Washington Square Park yesterday (see). This insane crowd of self-loathing American leftist agitators and loons cheered Mohammed as he compared the Egyptian Revolution (hijacked by Islamists) to the Occupy Wall Street movement, and our free enterprise system to Hosni Mubarak's oppressive regime, and called for the "fall of Wall Street and capitalist domination" and a "more confrontational movement using unions." i wonder, could this Mohammed be a Moslem Brotherhood jihadist in disguise? Or could he be a member of the global Islamic supremacist hate group Hizb-ut-Tahrir?

Perhaps you'll recall that in July 2009 Hizb-ut-Tahrir hosted a conference in Obama's home state of Illinois calling for "The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam  (see)." Founded in Jerusalem in 1953, Hizb-ut-Tahrir aims at replacing democratic capitalism with a tyrannical unified global Islamic state based on Sharia law and public ownership of utilities, public transportation, health care, energy resources and farm land. In other words, Mohammed Ezzeldin is most likely a subversive stealth jihadist statist using social justice rhetoric to endear himself to useful leftist idiots-one of many thousands infiltrating the anti-Wall Street movement (what I call the American Fringe Spring) for the overthrow of our constitutional republic and free way of life.

In his Real News interview of January 29th Mr. Ezzeldin was in Washington DC, not Tahrir Square where he told a Huffpo reporter yesterday he was "camped out." Either he returned to Egypt shortly after the interview, or he is lying.

According to Larry O'Donnell presidential candidate Herman Cain is unqualified to be Commander in Chief because he didn't enlist to fight in Vietnam War; while in 2008 he thought candidate Obama was superbly qualified because he opposed the Iraq War.
 
Thursday night on MSNBC's Last Word I had a good laugh watching ultra leftist hypocrite Larry O'Donnell make a jacka$$ of himself trying to shame fearful black Conservative Herman Cain (feared by the race baiting Left) in his deplorable, racially charged gotcha interview. Especially hilarious was the segment on the Vietnam War where O'Donnell maliciously and wrongfully accuses Cain of unpatriotic draft dodging (he was at all times available for the draft but was never called) and questioned Cain's qualifications for the job of Commander in Chief because he didn't enlist and fight in the war-Cain at the time was working for the Navy Department as a balistics analyst (rocket scientist). This was hilarious coming from the 60 year old O'Donnell who opposed the war in his youth and dodged the draft with a college deferment; and who backed Obama (who lacked military experience) over Vietnam vet and war hero John McCain.
 
Even more hilarious and mindblowing was anti-war O'Donnell pretending to be "offended" on behalf of the veterans who served in Vietnam (all baby killers from his radical viewpoint), one of which was John Kerry whom O'Donnell mentioned by name. This poor stupid man plum forgot that Kerry as a university student opposed Vietnam on moral grounds, and joined the Navy upon graduation to avoid fighting in the war. That Kerry ended up in a combat role was due to an unforeseen change of policy which the anti-war-radical-to-be utterly resented. When in Vietnam Kerry succeeded in shortening his tour duty to less than a year for suffering flesh wounds that didn't require hospitalization. Among veterans who served in Vietnam Kerry was one of the most disgraceful. O'Donnell owes Cain an apology.

Postscript I: Obama vs. Cain
 
Those on the Left cheering for Cain to win the GOP nomination thinking Obama would trounce him are completely mistaken. As I wrote elsewhere (see below) Obama has permanently and forever alienated the independent vote, crucial to his reelection-the aftermath of the 2010 election proved as much when independents weren't deceived by Obama's phony pivot to the right. Politically Obama is a dead man walking. 
 
Moreover, Obama was elected president based on race, image, charisma, hope and change rhetoric, etc. Voters have learned from the Obama disaster to distrust charisma and million dollar smiles as deceptive. They want a president with a solid record of accomplishments and the common sense to fix the economy.  In short, the less charismatic, down to earth, super-successful Herman Cain (a better role model for black kids than Obama) would beat the incompotent, disembling, extraterrestrial bumbler in a two man race.

IS OBAMA SOON TO FACE HIS CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS WITH IRAN?

At a fund-raiser in Seattle in 2008, vice presidential candidate Joe Biden gave this warning about Obama if the voters were to elect him president,  "Mark my words. Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy," Biden then assured his audience that Obama had a "spine of steel" and would pass the test with flying colors.
 
Though Obama's been in office over two and half years without facing an international crisis it was interesting that Biden linked his warning to John Kennedy; for he gave it on October 19th, on the 46th anniversary of the Cuban Missile Crisis*-which may have been a sign of things to come. For a report issued by the Middle East Media Research Institute (thanks Atlas Shrugs) says that sometime between now and Election Day Obama could be faced with a confrontational crisis in the Caribbean or Gulf of Mexico resembling the Cuban Missile Crisis, with Iran replacing the Soviet Union as the aggressor.

For it appears that Iran is planning "a deliberate provocation to the US mainland" by sending a fleet of warships, "armed with long range cruise missiles," across the Atlantic to their "destination off Cuba, in the Gulf of Mexico, and Central and South America." You can read the report (here). Why did Iran leak information about this operation? The report says that it's a warning to the US "if Israel were to strike against Iranian nuclear facilities." But I think it's something more. I think that it's a bargaining chip, leverage against the US led sanctions regime imposed on Iran as punishment for its illegal nuclear weapons program (see). I believe that the Iranians intentionally leaked the route map above to warn a weak US president seeking reelection that if economically damaging sanctions aren't lifted on their country he could be plunged into an unwanted foreign policy, defense and energy crisis. In other words, if Obama doesn't capitulate and play ball with Iran he could have a new Cuban Missile Crisis on his hands that could result in Ahmadinejad choking off oil shipments from the Gulf of Hormuz while endangering US ships and oil facilities off our shores. This would send oil prices through the roof adversely impacting our weak economy and, depending on how he handled it, further erode Obama's chances of reelection. Is the threat real? Are the mullahs bluffing? The White House isn't too concerned. But we shall see.

THE SHUTDOWN AMERICA MOVEMENT AND THE BIG 99% LIE

Hundreds of protesters were arrested at the Occupy Wall Street protest. 
Now that the bloodless revolution is failing to save America from capitalistic greed and inequality the persuasion of force is on the march. They know what is good for you, what's right for you, what's best for you, what'll work for you-whether you know it or not, like it or not, want it or not.

Shutting down the Brooklyn Bridge is emblematic of what the tantrum throwing Occupy Wall Street, George Soros backed crazies want to do to America with an "anti-establishment, coast to coast general workers' strike." It's all over the Daily Kos. One screwball Fringer wrote, "If we have the power to shut down everything, we have the power to...take possession of the means of production, abolish the wage system, and live in harmony with the earth.....  If they give us anything, it will only be in hopes that we'll be placated."  But these loons are implacably totalitarian and won't be appeased short of total control of the economy and abolishing private property-the ultimate act of social justice and cure for inequality.
 
Another OWS nutter, quoting Mario Savio of the sixties Berkely Free Speech Movement, posted this piece of inflamatory rhetoric:
 
"There comes a time when the operation of the machine [the capitalist system] becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part, you can't even passively take part; and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it STOP. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, the people who own it, that unless you're free the machine will be prevented from working at all."
 
In other words, stop the evil machinary of free enterprise with its corruption and mal-distribution of wealth. And never be satisfied with power until all of it is in your hands; UNTIL there's equality of income, outcome and condition not just nationally but globally in a classless world society-with America paying its fair share. This is why there's no American flags at these rallies. It's not patriotic nationalism that drives these loons, its humanitarian transnationalism. It's less about fixing the American economy than about healing the planet of poverty, injustice and inequality-the leftist solution to brotherhood and global peace-what the Fringer above called "living in harmony with the earth."

The communist Fringe Springers at Daily Kos and around the country are seething with rage over Obama's failing presidency, and his "GOP obstructed" social justice agenda, and are starting to take action to move it forward. It's the gathering storm of mindless leftist mob violence (and Weather Underground terror) unleashed by Obama's divisive reelection soak-the-rich campaign. When bloodless class warfare and revolution doesn't work this is what you predictably get: Lenin replacing Alinsky.

THE BIG 99% LIE

When Fringers make the outrageous claim that they represent 99% of the American people against the greedy, oppressive, exploitative top 1% what they mean is this: whether the 99% know it or not, accept it or not, like it or not, want it or not they (the Fringers) are acting on behalf of their TRUE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL INTERESTS. These arrogant, delusional, Marxist loons have the ultimate saving truth; they know what's good for us, what's right for us, what's best for us, what will work for us. Most working Americans are asleep, ignorant or brainwashed by regressive capitalist views, and just don't get it. They don't understand that the game is rigged against them, rigged to favor the super-rich, and that they can't succeed in the present system without massive government taxation, intervention and spending far beyond anything that's being presently done. Ultimately the system is unreformable and must be destroyed stone by stone, brick by brick. Only by revolutionary state control of the economy can the working man be truly free from the tyranny of greedy employers, landlords, and banking institutions.  

The Fringers or Fringies* see themselves as leading America to the revolutionary future, to Obama's transformational "More Perfect Union," to egalitarian heaven. The Occupy Wall Street movement is the politics of leftist desperation to rescue their dying socialist agenda and save the Utopian Dream.

"Up up and awayyyy my beautiful balloon(s)." The song is from the 60s but this gathering of lefties doesn't even qualify as a 1960s Be In. They call themselves the "99 Percenters" claiming to represent a super-silent majority of angry anti-capitalist Americans (which must include most pro-capitalist  tea partiers). What they don't understand is that one more 9 would make them leftwing followers of Herman Cain (see).

It's finally here, after two and a half years, the long awaited Obama Effect-the offspring of his class warfare rhetoric. The leftist analogue of the Arab Spring: the anti-capitalist FRINGE SPRING. Don't ask me for analysis. Half my brain disintergrates just thinking about it.

This ex-terrorist was an ex-US citizen long before he was ex'ed out of existence by a hellfire missile.
According to the Legal Information Institute (see) "In order for a US citizen to loose his citizenship it must be shown that he joined the military of a foreign country or swore allegiance to another state "with the intention of relinquishing United States nationality." Those who argue that there is zero evidence that Anwar Al-Awlaki, the late New Mexico born Al Qaida terror chief, ever formally renounced his U.S. citizenship-and point to the fact that the Obama administration who had Awlaki targeted for death never denied his citizenship-are ignoring the fact that his membership in, and religious loyalty to, Al Qaida is all the proof we need that Awlaki dissolved his bonds with this country and was its implacable, murderous, uncompromising foe. In otherwords, in Awlaki's twisted mind he was a proud, ex-US citizen when a hellfire missile ended his miserable life

Indeed, Al Qaida is a stateless militant organization of anti-US Moslem killers sworn to the utter destruction of America in the name of Allah, and for the purpose of restoring Islam as a great world power. And on the day that the delusional Awlaki had his jihadi awakening or Damascus experience, when he imagined that he heard from God the call to arms realizing in the fog of his deranged and hate filled mind the evil purpose of his life, on that day Awlaki made the fatal decision to replace the US Constitution with the Koran, the US President with Bin Ladin, and his US citizenship for CITIZENSHIP IN MILITANT ISLAM.
 
Indeed, on the day that he chose allegiance to al Qaida over that of the US Awlaki effectively renounced his US citizenship becoming a soldier in Allah's army of terrorist killers fighting the infidel unto death; fighting, in particular, for Islam's re-empowerment and glory, the Great Satan. the Great Monster, the Great Beast and Menace to the one true faith: the United States of America.
 
In sum, those who say that Awlaki was a US citizen when he died and that Obama committed a crime in ordering his death either have a reality problem or are afraid (like the jihadists in CAIR) that they might be next.
 
Postscript I: Awlaki's Damascus Experience From Hell
 
It was reported this morning at Jihad Watch (see) that "at Dar Al Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, Virginia where Anwar Al Awlaki was once imam, he was a "moderate" known for his interfaith outreach, civic engagement and tolerance in the Northern Virginia community." I guess when outreach didn't work for Awlaki, when his good intentions came to naught in converting Christians and Jews to Islam, he had a Damascus experience from hell where he realized-as did Mohammed when he failed to convert the Jews of Medina-that jihadi terror was the only way in making the infidel see the light.

The lesson here is this: there is a fine line separating the moderate Islamic supremacist from the violent radical; and today's kindly imam could be pushed over the edge and become tomorrow's brutal Al Awlaki if you don't respond to his good intentions and submit to Islam.

Upon hearing the news about the drone zapped death of al-Qaida terror master Anwar al-Awlaki the subversive, pro-Hamas, Moslem Brotherhood proxies at radical CAIR quickly went on the defensive and issued this statement:
 
"While a voice of hate has been eliminated, we urge our nation's leaders to address the constitutional issues raised by the assassination of American citizens without due process of law."
 
Later Dawud Walid, the executive director of CAIR-Michigan, echoed this sentiment about killing a Moslem man born in the U.S.
 
"It's a scary proposition that the executive branch would kill an American citizen who is not on the battlefield and who was not even indicted on one criminal charge," he said. "We have taken a very clear position about violent extremism and Mr. Awlaki's rhetoric, but we have to say things at times that may be considered unpopular by some in the broader public. What are the limits and who is next?" 
 
Why did CAIR say these things? Why is the killing of a Moslem American citizen turned deadly enemy combatant, sworn to mass murdering US citizens and the destruction of our constitutional republic, a constitutional issue, when the issue is saving American lives in post-9/11 times? Because for Islamic supremacists like Mr. Walid  the lives of American infidels is cheap; and the killing of Moslem jihadists anywhere is like killing jihadists everywhere. If it was a Timothy McVeigh who'd been killed in yesterday's attack CAIR would not have made a peep. He's not a Moslem jihadist you see.  
 
According to the Koran (Islam's book of intolerance, hatred and war) Al Alwalki was an innocent man guiltless of any crime; according to the Koran Al Awlaki was a soldier of Allah (no different from Mohammed) and a brother in arms-a fellow jihadist engaged in an endless war commanded by God. Like Al Awlaki CAIR too is sworn to our destruction using smarter, incremental, nonviolent means protected by the Constitution and useful leftist idiots who see no evil in Islam.
 
In other words, clever radicals like Mr. Walid fear for their lives-fear that their subversive cause to bloodlessly conquer this land for Islam using our laws and institutions could meet with the same terrible end. They fear that this awakening nation of growing "Islamophobes" who rationally fear Islam and its totalitarian laws is headed down the slippery slope; and that Awlaki's death is a sign of things to come for them and their brethern. For if America summarily kills the Awlakis today their deceitful, nonviolent counterparts may be targeted for death tomorrow-or rounded up and thrown in jail without due process of law.
 
Hiding behind our freedoms and rights CAIR is guilty of trying to Islamize this country-of imposing Islamic law short of killing Americans who they despise; and they live in fear of being unmasked and stigmatized, and possibly sharing Awlaki's well deserved fate. That is what's running through their plotting, scheming, seditious, paranoid brains. That's why Dawud Walid  asks "Who's next."

All Islamists without exception are Americaphobes united in great fear of the GREAT SATAN (and the LITTLE SATAN Israel). They fear our power, wealth, values and culture. Like Israel's existence on formerly owned Moslem land situated on the Arabian peninsula (birthplace of Islam), America's great power-such like no Islamic caliphate or empire ever possessed-is a refutation of Islamic supremacism making Moslems doubt their triumphalist faith and utopian destiny-a one world Moslem State. In 2008 while candidate Obama was on a visit to Jerusalem and praying at the Wailing Wall a religious man, as if inspired by God, shouted out prophetically: “Obama, Jerusalem is our land! Obama, Jerusalem is not for sale!” Three years latter and Barack Obama has sold out to Israel's enemies by declaring the Jewish city of Jerusalem the illigitimate capital of Israel (see).

You heard me. In what is an outrageous reversal from candidate Obama's disingenuous AIPAC speech three years ago (where he boldly declared Jerusalem "the indivisible capital of Israel"), and Hillary Clinton's support of Israeli ownership of Jerusalem as Senator, now these two perfidious
snakes have gone to the opposite extreme stating in a State Department brief filed with the Supreme Court that Israel has got it all wrong; that it has no sovereignty or territorial rights over Jerusalem; that Jerusalem is a city belonging to no state or people; that it's a city state unto itself; that the people of Jerusalem aren't Israeli citizens; that, in effect, they are Jerusalemites; and that Israel's claim that Jerusalem is its capital is bogus and illigitimate.

Why the hell is Obama and Clinton doing this? Because, they say, it's making negotiations with the genocidal Abbas/Hamas regime impossible; because its jeopardizing the "peace process." Peace process!? What peace process!? How could Israel have a peace process with Palestinians unless the later first does what Anwar Sadat did in 1978 and recognize Israel's right to exist as a Jewish State? There's no other acceptable model for peace. NONE! If Israel were to go along with Obama and Clinton on this and relinquish its claims to Jerusalem it would be a disaster for peace. Israel's Arab enemies would see it as a weakening of its resolve and will to survive as a Jewish State-as a concession along the way to Israel's complete destruction-and they would intensify their attacks against her. Islam is a pitiless faith based on power and strength driven by the principle that MIGHT MAKES RIGHT. Those who are weak with Moslems will be devoured by them-an ancient truth that our idiot president and his dumb secretary of state don't understand or want to understand.
